We are immensely thrilled and proud to announce that Ambereen Jahangir, the CEO of DV8 Communication, has been nominated for the 30th annual 2022 RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards!
This is a huge badge of honor and excellence, as only the most hardworking, persistent, and inspiring women can receive this nomination. Ambereen has done it with hard work, talent, passion and dedication, and DV8 Communication cannot be prouder to celebrate this milestone!
About Ambereen Jahangir
Ambereen Jahangir is the CEO of the 360 degree multicultural marketing agency, DV8 Communication. Being in business for more than 20 years, DV8 Communication is a data-driven, holistic, multicultural marketing agency. DV8 Communication offers a very wide variety of services for marketing strategy and activities. These services include marketing strategy development, branding strategy development, multicultural advertising, digital and social media marketing, creative design, multicultural marketing consultancy, and many more. In essence, DV8 Communication provides almost anything companies and brands need for multicultural marketing campaigns and strategies.
Under Ambereen’s leadership, hard work, wisdom and insights, DV8 Communication has now developed into one of the pioneers of multicultural marketing in Canada. We’ve completed over a thousand amazing and successful marketing projects, across all kinds of multicultural platforms. These range from traditional to digital and social media like Weibo, WeChat, Facebook, YouTube, Programmatic advertising, and many more.
More than 250 clients that worked with us are satisfied with our works and endeavors. Many of our clients include well-known brands, like Nissan, National Bank, Mazda Canada, Canadian Tire Gas, L’Oréal, Kraft, Maple leaf, Metro, Sobey’s, and Food basics, to name just a few.
Ambereen did not construct DV8 Communication to be simply a marketing agency. The mission of DV8 Communication is to connect the visible minorities with the brands. Canada is a land of ethnic and cultural diversity, with over 21% of the total Canadian population being foreign born as of the time of the 2016 census. DV8 Communication carries the vision that visible minorities deserve to be included in markets, and their needs and desires should be put into consideration. This creates a business landscape that is not only mutually beneficial for both brands and cultural groups, but the visible minorities in Canada can also be heard and represented. And DV8 Communication hopes to serve as a voice for acknowledging and celebrating Canadian multiculturalism, on top of being an excellent marketing agency.
The success and impact of DV8 Communication would not be possible without Ambereen. Being the CEO, she also takes the roles and responsibilities of the chief decision maker, operations manager, chief strategist, and human resources manager of the company. Ambereen makes the key business decisions, and supervises all work and operations, ensuring everything goes as smoothly as possible. Having a keen eye for management and human resources, she also ensures not a single bit of talent within the crew goes to waste. Having over 25 years of past experience in marketing, advertising and financial industries, Ambereen excels in business development, management, and providing strategies and solutions, especially for multicultural business. The entire business vision of DV8 has been crafted by her extensive experiences, knowledge, skillsets and innovative insights.
Before starting DV8, Ambereen had worked with various International Financial Institutions like Merrill Lynch and Union Bank of Switzerland as Head of International Markets. Throughout these experiences, she traveled across many different places across the globe, including USA, UK, Middle East, Europe, Hong Kong, and Singapore, giving her extensive and in-depth knowledge and experiences with all types of cultures. Ambereen is a firm believer in the moral, spiritual, and ethical development of diverse communities.
Ambereen Jahangir was also a Multicultural Jury for the 2019 Marketing Awards and the Multicultural Chair for the 2020 Marketing Awards.
And now, on top of all these honors and achievements Ambereen has received nomination for the RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards, a high and invaluable honor for both herself and for all of DV8 Communication.
